The aim of this module is to provide the students with the information about processing of personal data, relationship between the collection and dissemination of data, technology, the public expectation of privacy and the legal and political issues surrounding them. Students will acknowledge how Personal Data Protection ensures the protection of human rights and freedoms, as well as the inviolability of personal life. 

 

CYBERSECURITY

– Cyber​​security in personal and state context (threat Actors, Attacks, and Mitigation);

The purpose of the module is to provide students with the information regarding practice of protecting systems, networks and programs from digital attacks; This module also incorporates the influential issue of cyber hygiene.

CYBERCRIME AND LEGAL ASPECTS OF CYBERSPACE

– Online Intellectual property law/ Copyright issues in Cyberspace;

– Dark web/Cryptocurrencies;

– Cybercrimes and investigation procedures;

– Best practices and case studies;

– Essential Roles/professional paths for youth;

The aim of the module is to introduce the students about the regulations and legislative framework which ensures protection of citizens in cyberspace. Additionally, the course will provide the information regarding dangerous crimes existing in cyberspace. 

E-GOVERNANCE AND ITS IMPORTANCE

– Administrative and political aspects of e-government;

– Perspectives and approaches to e-government policies;

– E-Democracy;

– Case Studies: development models of e-government services;

The module introduces the students to the application of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in the Government services to improve the efficiency of communication and transaction between. The listeners will also acknowledge the importance of e-government in the modern global world, e-services available in the Internet space that make life so convenient.

HYBRID CHALLENGES, MISINFORMATION, PROPAGANDA AND SO CALLED “FAKE NEWS”

– Definitions, History, & Ethics;

– Information Evaluation Skills & Practices;

– Disinformation in Global Context;

– Best practices, guidelines, workflows and polices;

This is a module that includes currently needed information regarding false, inaccurate, or misleading information that is communicated regardless of an intention to deceive. It is highly dangerous direction which affects both global processes and the lives of each individual.

ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AND MACHINE LEARNING

– Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning;

– Deep Learning: A revolution in Artificial Intelligence;

– AI application areas;

In this module students will learn about the importance of artificial intelligence, what a great role it plays and will play in the life of society; particularly, in the aspect of agriculture, healthcare, education, etc.

DIGITAL LITERACY

– Digital skills for the 21st century;

– Access information online (Using digital databases, such as search engines and indexes);

– The concept of digital citizenship;

– Digital web tools sharing; 

Becoming digitally literate means that students will develop technological skills, learn authorship rules, such as copyright and plagiarism, understand how to access online information and learn social responsibility while interacting on social networks.

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

– Fundamentals of digital transformation;

– Digital Transformation in perspective: Why we need a digital culture;

– The Fourth Industrial Revolution (fusion of advances in AI, robotics, IoT, VR/AR, big data, blockchain);

– Types of digital transformation (business process, business model, domain, and cultural/organizational);

This new direction includes the complete digitization of organizations, the development of information technology and ensures the introduction of e-government services.
